I went their after having done previous sessions of laser hair removal and had lost hope of ever getting rid of the hair. So I figured why not try someone else , so I did and from the first session I saw an amazing outcome. I love how they're very honest and straightforward with you. They answer all your questions and allow you to walk out happy. They work with you for payment plans and much more. I am definitely going back for my upcoming sessions and I also like The staff for working with me and getting me a good deal for the full body treatment sessions , and the Nurse who prefoms my sessions Maria who makes you feel comfortable and allows you to understand what's going throughout the session, and you just will love her ! This place is fantastic! Oringially purchased one large area special from Groupon. After meeting with the staff, my sister and I decided it was a fantastic deal to upgrade to their full body special, which is an amazing deal compared to any other salon we researched. Our first appointment was only scheduled for a consult and we wanted to start treatments at that time. They kept the salon open late since we drove over a hour. They also opened the salon on a Sunday in order to accommodate us for the first time. Also, all of the staff are very professional and really focus on their customers. I am already seeing results from the first couple treatments. We love Kayla! She is such a wonderful technician. ~ Teresa D

I don’t even know how to explain how there are so professional and very knowledgeable what there are doing. I have a very sensitive skin I was suffering for long time my under arm. Because of my sensitive skin I can’t remove the hair in any way( shaving, waxing, & hair removal cream) and my doctor recommended me if I get a very good Lazer professional that’s the only way to get the solution. So I was searching & one of my friend told me about Metropolitan Med Spa and here I’m almost 2 years I drove from DELAWARE 2 or 2 hours and half to those awesome people. Now I’m most happiest person in the world because no pain and I wear what ever I want and I’m not sad when summer is come because thank for Metropolitan Med Spa they gave me back my confidence and my happiness again 😃!!!Love love love them🥰🥰🥰 ~ Maerg B

I love this place. I used to do just my laser hair removal for my face. And I was scared to do my full body hair removal. Up until Sonia who convinced me to do the full body hair removal. I have only done a few sessions so far, and still have some more to go but I am already seeing great results. Sonia makes my sessions relaxful and calming. She's like my best friend there, we get to have fun conversations while she does my laser hair removal to keep me distracted. She also goes at he speed and level that makes me comfortable and it doesn't hurt. Now everytime I go in for my full body laser hair removal, I feel so much at ease and happy with my sessions with Sonia. recommend going to this place for any kind of laser hair removal. I’ve been coming here for over a year for laser hair removal and it’s been such a great experience! I go to Sonya (the owner) and she’s such a sweetheart and really goes above and beyond for her clients. The package pricing is really a steal compared to other places and the results are great! I’ve done several areas now and while some require more sessions than others because my hair is thick and dark, the results have been great on all areas. Sonya does pretty much whatever she can to make you comfortable during the treatment, which for me is fun chit-chat that distracts me the whole time :) I’ve referred a few friends and they’ve also had good experiences here! A friend of mine recomended Metropolitan Med Spa since she had a great experience. I finally decided to give the laser hair removal a try, and I am so glad I did! I had a brazilian and underarm area done. I have had 4 brazilian and 3 underarm treatments thus far. The hair growth is so minimal now and am very happy with the process. It has been a great experience from the receptionist to the technicians. The technicians are always asking how I am doing and have adjusted the strength if needed. The receptionist has been very accommidating and will try her best to adjust times and/or days if you need to reschedule. The experience I’ve had at this place with Sonya, Marjan, and Taylor has been absolutely incredible. I just finished 6 sessions of a package I had gotten earlier this year and I have to stay the results are SOLID with my unwanted, stubborn hair. The ladies take their time to walk you through the whole process, are very knowledgeable, and informative should you have any questions or concerns. Not only have I been pleased with the outcome of their services but the warm, welcoming treatment on their end, they truly have your best interests in mind. If you are hairy and looking for a place for hair removal, I highly recommend the Metropolitan Med Spa. Sonya (the business owner) is a very sweet and professional. She is very knowledgeable about her business and knows what is best for each individual. The place is very clean and high fashion. I have personally been in other places for hair removal laser and I did not like the machines they were using. My mom and I come to Sonya’s office all the way from Gaithersburg because we have seen the results right away without any side effects. Regarding the prices, I think Sonya’s prices are very reasonable and more affordable compare to other places. ~ Yekta K

My mom and I have been coming to Metropolitan Med Spa for years and Sonya, the business owner, has been so amazing to us and taking care of us for years. She is always kind and welcomes us with a warm smile. She has been more than accommodating to us for years and always able to work with our schedules and has even come in on days off and holidays to work with us which I am forever grateful for. Maria and Marjan are both amazing techs and very passionate about their work. They make sure to not harm our skin and go over all the work they do extremely carefully. Friendly and clean. Laser skin tightening is painful so opt for a different procedure. They are very strict on their policies. There was a 3 lane crash with a 30 min back up which would make me late for my appointment. Not their fault and not mine either. I called to make them aware and they said that I would have whatever time was left on my 30 min session, forfeit the session, or pay a $50 fee to reschedule. The aesthetician did her best to complete as much of the treatment as possible and gave me a little extra time. Be aware this is not flexible and the way traffic is on 95 definitely check your GPS well ahead of your departure time. ~ Erika W

Their team did a phenomenal job taking the time to review my areas of concern- specifically my chin as well as giving my details about after care and what to expect and ensuring every question I had was answered. I love this place! I was introduced to this business via Groupon a year ago. It was my first time ever getting laser treatment and I was quite nervous. From the first treatment, these ladies have been the sweetest, most professional group, especially Sonya and Maria! They explain the process thoroughly, prioritize safety and cleanliness, and make themselves available if you have questions or concerns. The first set of treatments yielded excellent results and I just started my second set of treatments yesterday (different body part, obviously). I’m excited to see the results over time. I’ve been coming here for about a year I believe and I’ve loved the level of service and results. This by far has been my best experience and best results. I have very thick, dark, and coarse hair. Sonia, the owner is flexible and friendly. Sabrina, at the front is a sweetheart and is down to earth. My favorite Estheticians are Marjan & Kayla. Once you have them do your treatments, they are both great options when one of the other is not available. I am a black women who has very sensitive skin. My nail tech told me about Metropolitan Med Spa. I was a bit hesitant because I made an appointment with another laser place, and once they knew my ethnicity they told me they couldn’t service me. When I called Med Spa, the customer service was exceptional. They assured me that they could service me. The customer service, the laser sessions, and just the overall space is phenomenal. I can not say enough good things about Metropolitan Med Spa and the owner Sonya!!!! As a woman of color I was hesitant about getting laser hair removal. I struggle with dark spots and had heard horror stories about technicians not understanding pigmented skin and making things worse. Sonya is incredibly knowledgeable and has amazing bedside manner. She listened to my concerns provided an excellent laser hair treatment and recommend a wonderful serum for my dark spots. Metropolitan Med Spa has been an amazing place to get my laser hair removal! Everyone there is super friendly and is willing to work with your schedule and your skin. I have sensitive skin and they were easy to talk to on what to put on my skin to help me feel better. They also adjusted the energy level to give me a much more pleasant experience. I still got great results and after ending my 3rd treatment I barely have any hair left on my lower legs! I have been coming to Metropolitan Med Spa for just over a year and have been meaning to write a review for months now because they are exceptional. I started coming here for facial laser hair removal and have continued to add different areas because I’ve been so pleased with the results. I noticed a drastic change after one session. I’ve had laser hair removal before and it was not as effective as this. The pricing is reasonable and they are incredibly accommodating with appointment times. Great spa, I t’s where I go to stay young! They have the latest equipment and are so helpful and knowledgeable with their spa offerings. I got the RF Micro-needling 3 session package (which was such a great deal and the RF laser is amazing!). I felt very heard with my areas of concerns and am very thankful for how thorough both Maria and Sonia have been with each of my sessions. I’m already loving the results!
